Accessing Enrichment Funds

Scholars who wish to access their enrichment funds for opportunities other than Outward Bound, which occurs in the summer prior to their first year, must receive approval from the Notre Dame Scholars' Program.

As scholars conceptualize their projects during the academic year, they can meet with the Associate Director to brainstorm and refine ideas. They then submit a 3-4 page written proposal and budget, which the program staff reviews.

Proposals may receive immediate approval or be returned for revisions. Following final approval, funds are disbursed to the scholar, who then tracks all eligible expenses during the enrichment experience. They then meet with an Associate Director to debrief and return any unused funds.
